Workforce’s Technical Skills? TWC Can Help!

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has made available $6 million in funding to help businesses train their employees through the Upskill Texas program. This initiative supports employers expanding operations, introducing new services or products, or adapting to changes that help avoid layoffs.

Eligible Employers:

Must have 100+ employees in Texas
Provide a 50% employer match (can include wages/benefits)
Private, nonprofit, or public healthcare organizations

Funding Details:

Project amounts range from $150,000 to $500,000
Up to $3,000 per trainee for technical training only

How to Apply: Applications are due by June 30, 2025 at 5:00 PM CT. Submit your completed application, budget form, and course description to UpskillTexas@twc.texas.gov.
